What are ways I can use my custom emblem? The possibilities are endless! Some popular applications include wedding invitations and signage, wax seal stamps, signet rings, embroidered apparel and towels, baby shower décor, stained glass windows, keychains, pet collars, and Christmas cards.
-
How long does the design process usually take?It depends on the package you select, but for the Provenance package, the time from submitting the order to receiving the completed emblem can take as little time as 10 business days. A great deal depends on how quickly the client (you) completes the questionnaire, offers feedback, and is satisfied with the final product.

What is the difference between an emblem and a logo?Logos and emblems are both types of visual identifiers, but they serve different purposes. A logo is a memorable graphic designed to distinguish a company or product. An emblem is often more detailed, and can feature symbols, text, and decorative elements within a frame, and typically represents broader concepts like families, institutions, traditions, or cultural values.

What is the difference between a crest, an emblem, and a coat of arms?Emblem: An emblem is a symbolic design or image representing a group, organization, nation, or idea. Emblems are not limited to heraldic use and can be found on almost anything. Crest: In traditional heraldry, a crest is a specific type of emblem that sits atop a helmet in a full heraldic achievement (the coat of arms). It often represents a family, clan, or organization and typically features an object, animal, or symbol significant to that group. Coat of Arms: A coat of arms is a complete heraldic design, originally created to identify individuals (especially knights) in battle and later associated with families, institutions, or regions. It includes several elements like the shield, crest, helmet, mantling, supporters, and sometimes a motto.
-
